He worked for 25 years with Hilton International, Intercontinental Hotels, Holiday Inn and private Hotel Companies in Europe, the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.
He has worked as a Consultant to the Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Industry in Indonesia for over 10 years. Hero Supermarkets, Lippoland Development, Parklane Hotel Jakarta, Dusit Hotel Balikpapan and others.
He initiated, prepared and set up the first “Bob’s Shashlick” for Kem Chicks supermarkets
He worked 3 years as Corporate F&B Director for Santika Hotels, Indonesia, involved in opening 3 new Santika Hotels in Manado, Surabaya and Jakarta. Was in charge of the entire F&B operation of the company for 9 hotels, setting up policies, procedures and operational standards
He managed large Catering Companies:
9 years PT. Indocater in Lhokseumawe Aceh Utara during the construction of the LNG and LPG projects for PT. Arun and Mobil Oil, managing and supervising 1’000 employees and serving 5’000 expatriates and local people, with complete support facilities.
2 years with Pt. Pangansari Utama in Irian Jaya on the Freeport project, managing a camp with 1’000 employees and producing daily 8,000 meal boxes for support companies and government units.
He worked 6 years with Aerowisata Catering Services, managing the Airline Catering in Bali for three years, serving 25 international and local Airlines, producing 10’000 meals daily. After the September 11th. attack in New York, he was then asked by the directors of the company to start and set up a new division Industrial Catering, for the company, with offices based in Jakarta.
After this he worked with the Swiss German University in Bumi Serpong Damai as Program Coordinator for the Hotel & Tourism Management Faculty, coordinating the syllabus to conform to the requirements of the German University and to find internship places for 25 students in Germany and Switzerland
His last tour of duty was as General Manager Property for PT. Core Hospitality International at the Bellagio Parkway Residence & Mansion at Mega Kuningan, Jakarta
